Join your neighbors and friends at this year’s kickoff of the second year of the Native Plant Initiative sponsored by Anderson Township. This year’s kickoff will feature a panel of experts on using native plants in your garden. The panel begins at 1:30 and will include: Ben Necessary owner of Native Roots, Todd Chadwell, the Anderson Township Greenspace Inspector, and Anette Moran, an Anderson resident and gardener from Horizon Church’s native plant garden project. Bring your questions!
If you have been gardening, please bring your plastic pots that are dry and free from loose dirt to be recycled at the Cincinnati Reuse & Recycle Hub!
Enjoy refreshments and giveaways during this free event, which recognizes Bluestar (Amsonia), the 2026 Anderson Township Native Plant of the Year.
