With a clear plan and shared vision in place, our experienced installation team brings that design to life—staying on schedule and on budget through careful planning and open communication every step of the way. From site preparation and drainage solutions to planting and building features like patios, fire pits, pergolas, and more, we handle every detail from start to finish. The result is a thoughtfully crafted outdoor space that adds value to your property and gives you more time to relax, gather, and enjoy life outside.

How does this work?
Consultation
We’ll schedule an on-site walkthrough of your outdoor space so we can better understand your vision, evaluate the property, and discuss ideas in person. Our consultation fees typically range from $150–$300+ depending on your location.
Design Proposal + Acceptance
Within 24 hours of your consultation, we’ll provide a design agreement outlining the scope and next steps for your project. Design fees are offered at a flat rate based on the size of your property and the complexity of the work involved. Smaller, more straightforward designs typically begin around $1,500, while comprehensive site plans for larger properties generally range from $5,000–$10,000+. Most of our projects — which focus on extensive outdoor living spaces — require a minimum design investment of $5,000.
Once we receive your signed agreement and deposit, both of which can be completed online, we’ll officially begin the Design Phase.
If your project does not require a formal design, you can expect to receive an estimate within one week of your consultation.
Enter Design Phase
A member of our design support team will visit your property to take measurements, evaluate the site, and gather the information needed for the design process. They’ll coordinate with you to schedule a convenient time for the visit before passing everything along to our designers to begin creating your plan.
For larger or more involved projects, your designer may check in throughout the process to gather feedback and discuss evolving concepts. Once the design is complete, you’ll receive the final concept for review prior to us preparing the project estimate.
Build Proposal Sent
Once your design has been finalized and approved, we’ll prepare a detailed build proposal outlining the scope of work, materials, timeline, and investment for the construction phase of your project. Our team will review everything with you and answer any remaining questions so you feel confident moving forward.
After the proposal is approved and the required deposit is received, your project officially transitions into the Build Phase and we can begin preparing for scheduling and construction.
Schedule Date
Once the construction agreement is approved, we’ll work with you to coordinate scheduling and secure your project’s place on our production calendar. Our team will communicate anticipated timelines, project duration, and any preparation items needed before work begins so that everything is organized and ready for a smooth start to construction.
Prebuild Meeting
This is the exciting part — seeing your vision begin to take shape. Your completed design presentation will include the details needed to help you fully visualize the finished project, including layouts, material selections, plant imagery, and other key elements.
Once the design is approved, we’ll prepare a customized Construction Agreement tailored specifically to your property and project goals. We strive to make our proposals as thorough and detailed as possible, allowing us to provide a clear and accurate project estimate.
Walk Through
Your satisfaction is extremely important to us, which is why a foreman or project manager will walk through the completed project with you before we leave the site whenever possible. During this final review, we’ll go over the finished work, answer any questions, and address any remaining details or concerns.

Native Roots is the best! They installed a beautiful woodland landscape on a hillside at our house that was previously covered in invasive honeysuckle. I wanted all native plants so I knew that I wanted Native Roots for the job. They planted trees, shrubs, and perennials as well as installed log steps down the hill.
