Perennials are plants that endure for several years. Typically, the flowering and stem portions of the plant will die back each fall only to return in all their glory the next spring. Overall, these plants are considered hardy for this reason and are often planted directly into the ground rather than started indoors. This group is extremely diverse and there is a size, shape, and color scheme for any garden.
