Deciduous Shrubs

As the name indicates, deciduous shrubs will lose their foliage in autumn to return again in the spring. These plants are wonderful for adding structure, visual interest, and wildlife habitat to a garden. Typically, a deciduous shrub will have green leaves in spring and summer but will follow suit of other deciduous plants in turning vibrant colors before going dormant for the winter.
