Tuliptree
Tuliptree is native shade tree. Tuliptree is named after its tulip-like flowers that are yellow with an orange band at the center that bloom in late spring. It is a fast grower wit leaves that are bright green with four lobes and turn yellow in the fall. It is the state tree of Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee.
